LYNNETH WALKER
Lynneth Walker was born Lynneth Booth in Clarendon, Jamaica on the 1st of July 1936. She peacefully closed her eyes on the 23rd September 2022. Many in Hackney will remember Lynneth while working at St. Thomas' School between 1985 and 1995. In 1999 she was awarded for services to education by the Inner London Education Authority. With a well known talent for tailoring elegant clothes, baking, cooking and natural health foods & medicines, she also had a key skill in early stock and bond investments enabling them to purchase the family home in Oldhill Street. A true visionary, she was loved & cherished by generations across the world and will be deeply missed. Her legacy lives on with her four daughters, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson. Lynneth's Horse & Carriage procession will take her to a service of remembrance held at St Thomas's church, Clapton, London, E5 on Wednesday 12th October 2022 at midday.
