One of London’s most popular vantage points for viewing fireworks across the city will close at 10pm on Bonfire Night.
In July, night-time closure at weekends was reintroduced at Primrose Hill, following antisocial behaviour on weekends.
The gates will be closed as usual at 10pm on Saturday, November 5.
In a statement, The Royal Parks said: “In the run up to Bonfire Night, The Royal Parks and the Metropolitan Police are reminding people not to bring fireworks or paper lanterns to Primrose Hill.
“Using these items is prohibited under the Park Regulations and anyone attempting to bring them into the park will be asked to hand them over for safe disposal.
“On November 5, those looking to enjoy the view of firework displays across London from Primrose Hill are reminded that the park will close at 10pm and are asked to make their way to the exits at 9:45pm.
“There is no official fireworks display at Primrose Hill or in any of the other Royal Parks.”
The charity is responsible for eight parks, including Primrose Hill, Regent’s Park and Hyde Park.
The statement continued: “The Royal Parks is also reminding visitors to respect the park and take litter home or place it in the bins provided to ensure a safe and friendly viewing point for all.”
At the start of the pandemic, in April 2020, fencing was first used to close Primrose Hill on weekends.
