An animal charity is appealing for information after a man was videoed apparently kicking a dog on a North London street.
A member of the public filmed what seemed to be a vicious assault on an animal in Hazelville Road, Islington, at 4.10pm on Sunday, March 26.
They reported it to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), which is investigating the incident.
RSPCA animal rescue officer Nicola Thomas said: “This is a very upsetting incident and we are concerned for the dog’s welfare.
“We’re hoping that by releasing this footage, someone will come forward with information so we can check on the dog.
“It is absolutely wrong to treat an animal like this and the dog is clearly scared.
“Anyone with information should contact us in complete confidence on 0300 123 8018.”
