A man wanted by police after a homophobic attack in Islington has been arrested.
The Metropolitan Police say a man aged in his 50s was “violently” assaulted at an address in the borough on October 18.
The victim had to attend hospital for treatment.
Due to the nature of comments made during the attack, it is being investigated as a homophobic hate crime.
Police named Alex Ogden, 28, of no fixed abode, as a man they would like to trace in connection to the attack.
He has now been arrested.
