A person was treated for smoke inhalation after a fire in a hostel early this morning.
London Fire Brigade was called to the hostel in King's Cross Road, WC1, at 5.22am this morning.
One person left the property before firefighters arrived and was treated for smoke inhalation.
The fire was extinguished by 6.29am.
Part of a room on the first floor of the three-storey building was damaged. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
Crews from Euston, Islington and Soho fire stations attended the scene.
