Police are investigating a blaze that left a man in hospital.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were scrambled to a mid-terraced house in Regent's Square, King's Cross at 1.50pm on Wednesday, February 14.
Part of a two-room flat on the ground floor of the house was damaged by flames.
One man was rescued by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
The fire was under control by 2.46pm.
Firefighters from Islington, Soho, Kentish Town and Paddington fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the London Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
