A teenager has been charged with murder after a 37-year-old was stabbed to death.
Robert Weston died after he was stabbed in Hamilton Crescent, Harrow, on Monday afternoon (February 26).
Jaden Sheriff, 19, of Forston Street, Islington, was arrested the following day.
On Thursday (February 29) he was charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
He appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court and was remanded in custody.
Although formal identification is yet to take place, Robert’s family were informed of his death and continue to receive support from specially trained officers.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “As is routine in cases where there has been prior police contact, a mandatory referral will be made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) by the Met's Directorate of Professional Standards.”
