An accessible toilet has been installed for rail passengers at Finsbury Park station.
The facility, stationed on Platforms 7 and 8 at Finsbury Park station, was installed by Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR), the operator of Great Northern and Thameslink trains.
This development is in line with the recently completed Access for All project, a Network Rail initiative funded by the Government that ensures step-free pedestrian routes between platforms and streets.
In the last year, other GTR stations including Palmers Green and Biggleswade have also seen the opening of new accessible toilets, bringing the total available across the GTR network to more than 100.
Keith Jipps, infrastructure director at GTR, said installing accessible toilets is one of GTR's "top priorities".
Mr Jipps said: "We’re committed to making train travel as easy and comfortable as possible for everyone.
"We know how important accessible toilets are to many of our customers, so they are always one of our top priorities for our station improvement budget, wherever there’s space to install them."
GTR operates services ranging from Thameslink's cross-London routes to Great Northern’s trains between London and Cambridge.
They also run Southern’s coastal routes, Gatwick Express services, and various others across the UK.
