A large stretch of a busy road was shut after a crash.

Seven Sisters Road was cordoned, with police blocking off sections of the road, last night (August 3).

Tape covered part of the road near the junction with Holloway Road, restricting access both ways to cars overnight at around 10pm.

A second cordon was also in place at the junction with Axminster Road, also due to the crash.

Traffic scanners reported that emergency services blocked off access from Holloway Road to Hornsey Road.

According to the Metropolitan Police, there were no life-threatening injuries reported despite the huge cordon for many hours overnight.

It has since reopened and traffic appears to be normal this morning (August 4).
