Foodies have a little over a month left to sample cooking that has earned a pub a place in lists of the UK’s best gastropubs.
Tiella, the successful partnership between Dara Klein and The Compton Arms, is set to close on December 20 after almost two years.
The restaurant has been consistently booked out since its opening and was given a four-star rating by the Evening Standard in its first month.
Ms Klein was also named as one of Time Out’s hottest chefs last summer and demonstrated her famous meatball recipe on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch this year.
The Compton Arms has twice been named in lists of the UK’s best gastropubs.
Ms Klein said: "Tiella has been a fabulous, wild ride and I’m so thankful to The Compton Arms for taking a chance on my little Italian kitchen.
"Cooking my own take on regional Italian food in such a beautiful pub has brought me so much joy, and now I’m ready for the next chapter.
"I’m excited to share my future writing projects and pop-ups with you while I work on Tiella’s next steps.
"But for now, come and dine with us at the pub.
"I’ll be knocking out the classics as well as some special new dishes before our time comes to an end at The Compton Arms in December."
