A man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing at Edgware Road Station.
The station was shut after police and London Ambulance Service were called to reports of a serious assault just before 5pm yesterday (November 19).
An ambulance crew, an incident response officer and an air ambulance attended and found a man who had been stabbed.
He was taken to hospital where his injuries were assessed as non-life threatening or non-life changing.
Two teenage boys, 16 and 17, and a 20-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and remain in police custody.
Transport for London (TfL) announced that Edgware Road has since reopened following the assault.
Detective Chief Inspector Steve May said: “Enquiries into this incident are ongoing and passengers will see an increased police presence in the area as a result.
“The station will also remain closed.
“I urge any witnesses or anyone with information to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 513 of 19 November. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555 111.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We took a man to a London Major trauma centre.
“Ambulance crew, incident response officer and air ambulance attended.”
