A suspected moped criminal has been charged with numerous driving and drug offences after being arrested in Hornsey Lane, Archway.
Abdirizak Kheyre 19, of Quex Mews, Kilburn, was arrested on Wednesday last week after a moped failed to stop for police.
Kheyre was subsequently charged with dangerous driving, driving not in accordance with licence, driving with no insurance, possession of a bladed article; breach of criminal behaviour orders (being in possession of non-registered mobile phones), possession of MDMA, possession of cannabis and possession of cocaine.
He appeared in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court and has since been remanded in custody to appear at Blackfriars Crown Court on February 23.
