Live in the Islington South and Finsbury constituency and don’t know who to vote for in next month’s general election? The Islington Gazette is here to help. We are hosting a hustings on May 21.
Starting at 7.30pm, it will be held at St Mary’s Church in Upper Street and chaired by Gazette editor Ramzy Alwakeel.
All the candidates – incumbent Emily Thornberry (Labour), Jason Charalambous (Conservative), Alain Desmier (Lib Dem), Benali Hamdache (Green) and Pete Muswell (Ukip) – will attend the 90-minute debate.
St Mary’s Church boasts an excellent PA system and good lighting. It has a seated capacity of about 250, with standing room for 200 more. Entry will be first come, first served.
